  • L-type PT100 temperature sensor is a type of resistance temperature detector (RTD) sensor that is shaped like the letter “L” and is used for temperature measurement in various industrial and scientific applications. PT100 RTDs are temperature sensors made of platinum with a resistance of 100 ohms at 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees fahrenheit) and follow the standard PT100 temperature-resistance curve.
  • The L-type PT100 temperature sensor typically consists of a platinum RTD element housed in a stainless steel sheath that is bent into an “L” shape. The longer leg of the “L” shape is typically inserted into the medium whose temperature is being measured, while the shorter leg is used for connecting the sensor to a measuring instrument or a control system.
  • The L-type PT100 temperature sensor is often used in applications where it is desirable to measure temperature at a specific point or location, such as in industrial process control, HVAC systems, scientific research, and laboratory equipment. The “L” shape of the sensor allows for easy insertion into a medium or process, and the stainless steel sheath provides protection against harsh environments, chemicals, and mechanical damage.
